BALLASTED ANTI-CURRENT RINGS :
Aquazur has designed an anti-current ring instead of heavy ballast weights. The ring is made of a suitably dimensioned PE pipe . Depending on the current at the site, the ring is ballasted with a chain weighing between 5 and 30kg/m. It is fixed to the cage with hanging ropes. In order to help handling, the ring is equipped with immersion valves.
ANCHORS
We use double-fluked anchors in very high quality steel with very good drag in all types of soil. The anchor we recommend on our installations weighs 350 kilograms and withstands 20 tons traction force. However, depending on your needs, we can deliver anchors of different sizes and performances.
In order to cut transport costs, anchors are assembled on site.
CHAINS
On our installations, we usually use 30 mm black steel chain which weighs around 20kg/m. The chain is acting as a shock absorber between anchor and installation. Here too, the equipment can be adapted to your needs.
SHACKLES
We only use pinned galvanized steel lyre shackles to attach the anchor to the chain. For any other connection we prefer to knot the hawsers on very high quality stainless steel fastening rings (316L steel or 18/12 Mo).

ROPES
Our AQUAZURLINE ropes are specially designed for fish-farming .Their characteristics are as follows: low elongation under traction, very good resistance to abrasion, and tensile strength close to that of polyamide ropes. These ropes are specially treated for good UV protection.
FASTENING RINGS

Our fastening rings are specially designed to withstand the pulling force of the installations .They are made of 316L or 18/12Mo stainless steel. Using stainless steel makes it possible to knot the ropes directly on the rings without risking rust or wear from abrasion. As a result, running costs are measurably reduced and servicing is made easier.

COUNTER WEIGHTS
In order to minimise the shocks due to sea swell we install counter weights on the whole mooring system to maintain the installation under tension for all sea conditions .We use plastic containers, filled with concrete in which a stainless steel hook system is embedded.
