BRACKETS FOR CAGES
These elements allow the fitting together of the various pipes which constitute a floating cage. Made of polyethylene compound with an anti-UV additive, all our brackets are designed to increase the cages’ buoyancy, as they are completely waterproof.
- For cages built with 160 mm diameter pipes, the bracket is made to receive 3 pipes side-by-side. This system offers great convenience when working on lakes, ponds or sheltered sites. Its shape has been designed to resist deformation. A fastening system makes it easy to fix the breeding net.
- For cages built with 250 mm and 315 mm diameter pipes, a special bracket able to bear 2 (25 cm spaced) pipes has been developed.This bracket is equipped with gripping pegs for the breeding net, an anti-birds net and a ballasted anti-current ring .The design of the fixing system stops the breeding net rubbing against the floating pipes.
PIPES
All our pipes are made of high density (PEHD) polyethylene with an anti-UV additive. Pipes functions are :
- To ensure cage buoyancy when the pipes are floating on the sea.
- To provide workers with support when moving around the cage on the pipe at the top of the bracket.
Breeding and anti-bird nets can also be fixed on the top of these pipes. They are assembled by “mirror “welding or with welding sleeves.
